Friday Afternoons

Friday Afternoons was launched in 2013 to celebrate the centenary of British composer, Benjamin Britten. On 22 November 2013, more than 67,000 young people from across the world joined together in song, and this year we want you to help us beat that number!

New songs commissioned by Aldeburgh Music

Aldeburgh Music has commissioned nine new songs all inspired by traditional folk music and, together with the wonderful song composed by a winner of the Britten Young Songwriter Competition, and two folk song arrangements written by Britten himself, we have created a new set of songs from which you can pick and choose what you want to sing.
