2018 marked the sixth year of Friday Afternoons activity. Snape Maltings took that year as an opportunity to reflect on the project to ensure the continues to be relevant, distinctive and impactful in years to come.

The important piece of work, commissioned from Abigail D’Amore, helped us determine where users saw the value in the project and in which areas they thought we could better fulfil their needs.
Throughout 2019, we have been working hard to improve the project by making our website and resources as clear and user-friendly as possible, providing more guidance for people wishing to use the resources online, having a clearer training offer, and continuing to communicate, support and advocate quality leadership in all areas.
On 22 November 2019 - Britten's birthday, St Cecilia's day, and six years after the Centenary event - the website will relaunch at the Music Mark Annual Conference, including a performance from 60 young people from Kingswood Parks Primary School, Hull.
