12 new songs now available for young people around the world!

20 April 2018

This year's all new collection of songs is now available for download from the Song Bank! We’re delighted with the new collection, MAP: Songs for Children Everywhere, written by internationally acclaimed composer and singer-songwriter Errollyn Wallen.

The new songs take inspiration from Wallen's travels over the past year. Every song includes a note from the composer and information about where it was written — including Belize, Crete, Israel, Palestine, and the British Isles, especially featuring Scotland, London and Suffolk.

Full scores, melody scores and backing tracks are now available for download from the website. Recordings and accessibility resources will be added to the website throughout the year.

MAP: Songs for Children Everywhere receives its world premiere at the Albemarle Music Centre in Hull on 11 May 2018. Accompanied by the composer herself, the pieces will be performed by a massed choir in partnership with Hull Music Hub, comprising children from City of Hull Junior Choir and the Hull Choral Union Junior Chorus, Kelvin Hall School, Wold Academy and Hymers College, conducted by Charles MacDougall.
